In today's economy we have seen an increase in all items from Gas cost to trade show exhibiting cost. Price increase is all around us. Exhibiting at trade shows was never cheap. Like all things price always increase. Some trade show exhibitors are now faced with the choice of purchasing an exhibitor or renting one

Renting an exhibit can be a decision in itself. You certainly can choose to rent form the show contractor or some exhibit house which may provide you with a standard off the shelf exhibit. There is a drawback to this. The drawback is that your company now looks like every other company at the show. Your company is one of a kind; your exhibit booth should reflect that.

Custom trade show display rentals are a great alternative to the standard renting programs. Now there is no need to purchase a high cost custom exhibit booth. You can get a full customized trade show display which is designed specific for your company. Usually this is unique to competitors. There are many advantages to this process. The main one is that you do not own the booth or the responsibility that come with ownership

First, it was the small exhibitors who would take advantage of such program, but now, even the larger and more seasoned exhibitors are renting. Why? Savings on Transportation, Storage cost, Less time-consuming . Overall, a great budget booster. Imagery is one of the main things companies endeavor to uphold, but gradually changes in the industry have shown many participants the advantages of going ?the rental way? without sacrificing company image or quality nor integrity of display booth.

Some of the companies that have joined the ranks of renting customized booth are now adding fully customized items with in these rental booths. This helps to set their booth off from he standard rental booth. The programs program in which exhibitors are leaning more towards is the multi-rental exhibit program.

MULTI-RENTAL is basically where an exhibitor has more than 5 shows to attend but do not wish to own the properties. Clients commit to a 5 show term or a 3 year period. The client uses the booth without any refurbishment cost and storage fees. This program should be looked at closely because if you wish to store and service your own purchased trade show booth it maybe more cost efferent as a purchase.

Leasing your next trade show booth can also be an advantage. The main advantage is that the booth is treated as a purchase but without the high upfront cost. The tax advantages are much better than outright purchase. Today's economy is the perfect place for leasing, especially with the low interest rates. I would recommend that you speak to your tax accountant first before getting involved in this program. Monthly payments do come with this program. You also are responsible for refurbishments as well as storage cost. One disadvantage of this program is that you may be ready for a new look before your payments are up.

There are many options you can choose in deciding whether to purchase, lease or rent you next trade show display. One may choose to rent for the first time out and see if you like the program. From there they can get a better understanding as to what direction they wish to go in. Here is to your success
