Ever thought about what makes the great people in this world successful? Is it luck or chance? No way. The most successful people win on purpose. They have mastered the ability to consistently display good habits over time. So no matter where you find yourself today, the good news is you can change your circumstances by diligently implementing the following behaviors.

Ever thought about what makes the great people in this world successful? Is it luck or chance? No way. The most successful people win on purpose. They have mastered the ability to consistently display good habits over time. So no matter where you find yourself today, the good news is you can change your circumstances by diligently implementing the following behaviors.
Go Beyond Expectations: There is a fundamental difference between good and great companies. Whenever you have a chance to differentiate yourself in the eyes of your customer do it. It sounds simple, but its not. Train you eyes to see opportunities where you can go beyond your customers expectations. Once your mind is seeking these opportunities they will present themselves in abundance.
Be Solution Oriented: Remember buying is an emotional experience. People for the most part purchase solutions to a problem they are having. Find the problem and you can customize a solution that truly meets the need of your prospect.
Play to your Strengths: Don't try to do everything. You can only do so much. You will get further if you simply decide to do what you do well and let other competent individuals do the rest. Just because you own a Burger King franchise doesn't mean you have to work the drive thru.
Know when to cut your losses: This is a skill that must be mastered. You must realize some relationships are seasonal. If you are continually losing business in a key account sometimes the best thing to do is to refocus on the accounts that are growing. With more focus you'll be able to accelerate the growing accounts to compensate for the loss in the declining account.
Develop a Concise Value Statement: If I were to ask you what your product or service does you need to be able to communicate it effectively in under 10 seconds. Take a couple of weeks to come up with your value statement. Next rehearse it until it is natural. You'll be surprised how much more effective you will become
Don't Mislead People: Even if it means you don't make the sale todaybe honest. Build your business on a solid foundation of honest and integrity. If you are asked a question and you aren't sure the answer tell your client you will get back to them. Next do your research and contact them with the correct answer. They will appreciate this approach much better and you will be rewarded in the long run.
If you build your business based on these behaviors the sky in the limit for how fulfilling and rewarding your business can be. I wish you well in your endeavors.
