I have been seeing a lot of business ideas out there on Data Entry businesses. And while I would not classify all of these as scams, they are certainly not as easy as one would think.
Couple of tips if you are going to get into the data entry business:
1. You are competing with offshore, so make sure that you have a better selling proposition than cost. You dont want to compete on cost! Trust me, my selling prop would not be “Greg Shenkman Is the Cheapest Data Entry guy out there!” It would be “Greg Shenkman offers quality data entry service that you can rely on”
2. You should not have to pay for entry into a data entry network. Go to odesk, RAC, freelancer.com
Now go out there and make some cash!
